The Clerk is pleased to report that as a resut of the recent Community Governance Review, Rodington Parish Council will be remaining as it is, with 7 Council members in place and no changes to the boundary, or merger with any other Councils.

The Parish Council would like to thank everyone who responded to the consultation.

The strength of public feeling was very clear, and Councillors were overwhelmed by the responses of member of the public to the consultation. It was extremely encouraging to hear how well the Parish Council is thought of within the local community, and we are grateful that the Boundary Commission was able to recognise the important place that Rodington Parish Council has in the heart of the local area.

The Parish Council will continue to work tirelessly for local residents, as well as the wider community, and is thankful that this work can continue now that the Boundary Review is completed.

It is truly encouraging to see that the views of local people, and Parish Councils, have been carefully considered, and demonstrates that Telford and Wrekin Council values the importance of Parish Councils, and the communities that they serve.
