Concerns likely to be expressed might be around the environmental impact such a development would make. TWC need to ensure there is sufficient mitigation in the plans advanced, particularly around the potential impact on water courses and drainage systems, and reduction of smells from these units in addition to the impact on biodiversity. Some measures to mitigate the latter are included in the plans. There are also concerns regarding traffic and infrastructure. The application for a farm track may help to mitigate these issues. The Parish Council shares concerns of residents regarding possible impacts of smells, river pollution and increased traffic from the chicken sheds. 

It was RESOLVED to SUPPORT the application subject to the following conditions:

No agricultural vehicles to use Tern Lane

As per the submitted environmental statement, measures should be put in place to mitigate the possible environmental impact the application in terms of an awareness of proximity to the river and subsequent mitigation to avoid pollution, the possible impact on residents in terms of noise, ammonia and dust.
